Ladies Day Potluck Dinner

by Marilea Sharpe last modified 2008-03-16 23:19

Mary Wilson hosted a Ladies Day Potluck Dinner at her lovely Aspens Building home. She planned for a fun filled evening with a presentation from a "bagpipe" playing ski representative. We were shown some top of the line skis, sports products, clothing, and pampering bath salts and lotions. Appetizers were followed by a lovely meal and a delicious baked fruit dessert. Mary held a draw by donation for door prizes with the proceeds going to the local ski school to help a child learn to ski. The proceeds were given in at the next ladies day luncheon down at Happy Valley. I think we all had a sense of giving to such a good cause and Mary arranged for all of us to receive different gifts for our donations. We were entertained by a talented bagpipe session and a great evening was had by all the ladies that attended. A big thank you goes to Mary Wilson for her efforts to socialize with the level 6 ladies day skiers and help the local ski school teach the children to ski.
