2008 RDKB Vote
Regional District of Kootenay Boundary held elections on Saturday Nov. 15 2008. Big White is in Electoral Area E, where incumbent Bill Baird (411 votes) from Greenwood defeated Bill Bosovich Rock Creek. Mr. Baird will serve for a 3 year term (to Dec. 2011).
Big White contributes 80% of taxes to area E, but had only 25 voters
General voting day will be opened on Saturday, November 15, 2008
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to qualified electors of
Electoral Area 'E' of the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary.
Voting for Big White residents (and non-resident property owners) will
be located at the White Crystal Inn Conference Room (5275 Big White
Road, Big White, B.C.).
